$5 a beer would have been nice.

I'm not going to pretend to have the business acumen of Tom Benson, but I think lowering beer prices from a quarter shy of $9 to $5 would probably lead to more than a 2x increase in sales.

Who handles the beer...the Saints or the NFL? I wouldn't be surprised if they license it.

Centerplate handles all F&B for the Superdome. Tons of overhead with this company. 8.50 for a beer is normal. Even at the convention center I think beers were around that price.

Just buy a rum runner flask and stick it by your crotch. Problem solved. Also good for cruises

Thanks to the loyal season tickets holders out there. I did it for 4 years

With this being said, nothing better than sitting in my man cave in front of my 65" and having my frig full of ice cold beer. Oh and having my own bathroom right there

I'm never going to the Dome to drink beer again. First, the face value of the tickets we got for the game last Friday was $82. That was way up in Section 612 (good seats, though...can really see the plays develop). Then, parking anywhere is $20 or higher. And God forbid you get hungry or thirsty...I spent $100 just on myself to go to a preseason game (I'm not a frequent game-goer).

Next time, this guy is sneaking a flask into the Dome in his sock.

I might be mistaken, but I am pretty sure I saw they rounded it off to an even $9.00 for this season

Dude, don't pay freaking face value for pre-season games. I turned down four free ones and I know people were selling for $10 and $15 a piece.

I have never in my life paid to park for a Saints game.

Other than that, I feel your pain about beer and food prices.

Oh, we only paid $50. But the face value was ridiculous, even though for a football fan sitting up is probably the best view of the action.

Yeah, the food prices were astronomical. I made a poor choice with Rotolo's cheese pizza for $8.75 or whatever it was. Shoulda got the pulled pork...my friends said it was awesome.

sometimes when i go to LSU games ill sneak in a flask in one of my boots..but sometimes its hot as shite and at saints games i just want to enjoy the cool dome air on my legs(yea i know..ghey)

But seriously, they wont pat me down around my crotchal region if i decide to hide a flask around there? I missed all of last season bc of work and am not familiar if they have changed the pat down policy

They didn't pat me down. They just did the wand thing. Make sure your flask is plastic.

So much for Goodell's agenda concerning making the gameday experience better for the average fan so that they won't just stay home and watch it in HD

Posted by AlejandroInHouston Yah just sneak in flasks IMO. It's a no brainer. I don't have my gameday face on until I feel my cool metal flask slide up against my ballsack outside of the stadium as I prep for security.
