Not surprising. He almost seemed like just another body to put out there

I think its just a matter of they know he sucks, its time to just let other guys develop and take their lumps. Can't be much worse, and its better to develop younger players.

Cam Jordan may need a lot more time to develop, but he's going to get in their now, no doubt.

Haven't really heard much about cam's progression yet. How is he coming along?

Alex Brown is not worth 4 million. We have other defensive ends that can be equally as non-effective as him and make a 1/3rd of the money.

Doesn't surprise me. Knew someone was going to be the odd man out when they drafted Jordan.

not a shock at all

he hasn't been terrible, he just hasn't produced near the amount he was getting paid

even better- I think it means a great report on Jordan. They had to be thinking: he's as good, he's half the price, and he is our future there.

But you also haven't seen him outplay anyone either.. add that and his salary = why he's cut.

Exactly. $4 million is for play makers.

He hasn't done much in the preseason games, but we don't know what he's done at practice, and none of us here except blues are breaking down film and watching individual players.

Larry Holder seems to think Cam must have won the starting job.

considering the recent FA signing last year? yes.

BUT in games the dude is invisible. I am sure at his price GW just had enough

Its a master plan by the coaching staff. Play him with the 3rd string and 2nd string, then bust him out against Green Bay as a starter to chase Rodgers around all night.

It saddens me to say that I have been released from the Saints because their a first class organization and I will miss it. Good luck to the guys and Who Dat Nation keep roaring... My family and I had a blast here.. Thanks

Yea I think Turk McBride has played decent as well. He outplayed Alex Brown IMO. With Jeff Charleston, Jordan, and Galette and add Brown's salary and it makes sense. I thought maybe this being his second year in GW's system and being his final year signed making it a contract year he might have played better but he hasn't done Shite in the preseason so I'm definately not shocked
