Eagles fans in 2009 were WAY WAY WAY nicer to me than Bears fans were for the NFCCG in 2006.
With that said, Bears fans were super friendly to me during the Thursday night game I went to in 2008 or so. Dudes saw my Saints knit cap and gave me a ride from our hotel to their parking spot in underground garage, then had me shotgun shitty beers with them on the way. Was a blast.
Largely depends on where you sit, the stakes of the game, etc.

They were really nice to me I was on the 20 yard line Saints side. Maybe its just who you sit by.

I didn't say that, but I can see why he pissed them off acting like a jerk.
Go into a stadium with a reputation for a-hole fans and start acting like an a-hole, he wanted a fight. And that's fine, sounded like he was actually looking for a fight.

After several Eagles visits to the dome I can say they've never seen the visiting fan rulebook. First time they came to the dome post-K, a group of them behind us started up with:
"YOU-are-HOME-less" / clap...clap...clap clap clap [Repeat]
Just this year I was flipped off (not in a playful way) by the guy behind me with his trash-talking date when celebrating a Saints TD in our own stadium with my family. We ignored them and they got pretty quiet by the second quarter.
Hope we put 50 on them this time.

I know the guy spit on was head baseball coach at Central Private last year. Not sure if he still is.
