How anyone can believe this is beyond belief.
Drew Brees is one of the most competitive people in sports. This is unreal. Who the hell have y’all been watching all these years??? Brees would trade those records for SB’ s any day.

Didn't Brees just played a perfect game on Monday night against the Colts when he was going after the TD record?
If this was true then why didn’t he throw for six or seven TDs today to extend his record?

Drew actually said before the game that he would give up every record he has for another superbowl so your wrong
Posted on 1/5/20 at 8:07 pm to OsTiger78
Not to mention Drew was quoted before todays game that he said he'd trade all the records he has for just 1 more super bowl... that doesnt sound like someone who only wants records.

The team might not even be here if not for Drew. And he brought us a super bowl. Y’all are an embarrassment to this fanbase and need to grow up. Drew might be done talent wise. That’s very possible. And he definitely played poorly today. But questioning his character and passion? After all he’s done for this franchise? Do ANY of you remember the era before the storm? I say this with every ounce of my being: shut the frick up.

If he retires in the coming weeks, it shoots down your point.
Retiring would be an indicator that he has had enough of records and all the NFL officiated bullshite.

Geesus guys! You all go into this phucking melt mode anytime we lose a big game. You better enjoy the experience of having a 1st ballot hall of fame QB while you can. You will quickly find out what our team will look like without him when he decides to hang it up.
QB's like Brees are very rare. Teddy is not the same caliber QB as Brees, he just isn't. Tasom Hill is not the QB Brees is, however his upside is much higer than Teddy.
Do any of you remember life with Aaron Brooks? Yeah that is when we were Turrible!

I’ve seen many post similar to this.
Are there really delusional fans that think any of the NFL players #1 reason for playing this game is for the Fans or for the team?
The #1 reason for playing and wanting to play well is for a bigger pay check when the time comes. Records and recognition and playing for the love of the game all fall after that in various orders depending on the player.
Fans need to realize that fans and their favorite team fall way low on the list of reasons these guys play.

There’s no question in my mind this is true. He just doesn’t care as much about winning as he does personal accolades. He knew he probably wouldn’t make the Hall of Fame without a Super Bowl win so he got one. Since then, he has sucked in the playoffs.

You’re an idiot. And a simpleton.

Whose better Brees, Cousin, Tannehill? Answer is Cousins with Cook and Tannehill with Henry are both better. The key is a great running back that is utilized properly.

Introducing, a guy who never played competitive sports. Or maybe a guy who got some participation trophies.
