Well there is but Brees didn't go the route the players normally use, holdout! Brees sucked it up and played for an absolute bargain the last 4 yrs. He derserves to GET PAID this time around.

He had offers to make him the highest paid player in NFL history sitting on his desk for the past 2 offseasons.

Fact: Brees was not paid like a top 10 qb for the last 4 years even though he has arguably the top qb in the league during that time span.
Brees has be big time under paid and no he expects to get what he deserves. Oh by the way, saying Brady wouldn't do this is just silly. Both represented by same guy so both negotitions would be the same.

So what, its their power play but that doesn't mean its not outrageous for the saints under any circumstance to waive their right to tag drew next year. It really doesn't add leverage to float that out there when mickey just fell out of his chair reading it.
