t does come off looking bad after the hits both QB's took, but they were all legal hits IMO

You mean the SAINTS were getting favorable non-calls against the media-darlin Brett Favre!!? Not a chance.

Refs helps Favre up and fix his jersey back over his pads. They make sure he's O.K. And they pay very close attention to penalties against him.

And if you insist on an explanation, here is one: the Saints were hitting Favre so often and so bad that it became normal. Perhaps in a game where Favre was only hit a few times, perhaps he would have gotten an extra call his way...Bonus to the Saints for controlling the perception of that fine line! ; )

I specfically remember two of our defenders holding up Warner to keep him from falling down on one play in particular.

Yep, but that replay will never be shown. I don't think they are playing dirty but if thats want they want to label us as so be it. The sad part is if you thought the BS penalty flags were bad against favre and warner it will be 10x worse agaisnt Manning.

This.

Plus. If you don't want your QB hit, then your O Line needs to do its job better.

Man what freaking idiots. Go figure, they can't honestly win the battle so they go right to the Katrina talk. For every Saints fan that goes to the Superbowl....

if you hear any person talk shite about Katrina like Chicago did in 2006, punch them right in the throat. Totally uncalled for. Easy to talk shite when you were 2,000 miles away. Oh and BTW, it was YOUR government that failed us to turn Katrina into what was douchebag!!!

i completely agree with that, i wasn't knocking anything we did, thats why i said they were legal, i was simply stating that it did look bad to others, cause both QBs went down hard and in vicious fashion.

Like you rattled that stalworth Freeman fom the Buc's? Cough *Suck*Cough or how ya got after Tony Fagmo? What about Dellhome? I promise ya they ain't no Peyton Manning.

Having been there and having a cousin who lives there, they should have bulldozed that entire ****hole into the ocean, minus the French Quarter. You know why birds fly upside down over Nawlins? Nothing there worth sh!tting on

I can't wait till the Colts beat your asses to death. I personaly don't care about your feel good story. I don't live there and as far as I am concerned, your just another foe to vanquish..............
Sounds like Bear fan, Philly fan, Falcons fan......why would we expect anything else?

Guess he had a 'less than pleasureable' time when he came down for the jets game.

sounds like some of the same irrational trash talking I've seen on all message boards. It's unfortunate there's not an IQ requirement to access the internet....fortunately for me sometimes

This is true. The same holds true for Warner. I now regret starting this thread. Watching what happened to Favre the other night resurrected an old anger that I felt toward Williams because of how the Redskins played against us a couple of years ago. I really felt like they were trying to hurt Manning in that game and that if they had to push the envelope to do so, they were willing to take that risk. But maybe what happened to Favre and Warner was their own fault. They are both old and sometimes hang on to the ball too long. Maybe I've slandered Williams here and this thread should just be deleted. I've asked the mods to do so. I don't like being unfair to people and sometimes I should just keep my mouth shut (or my keyboard silent).

just remember, pro teams attract more trashy/retarded fans than the college boards we are used to viewing.

Indiana is just an extension of Kentucky with different accents.

You start a thread soliciting saints fans and it immediately devolves into a "New Orleans is the butt hole of the planet" thread? Classy.

Say what you will about NOLA, but there's a reason the city will have more tourists over the next two weeks than Indy will have over the next year. Tranny muggings and all.

I just don't want this SB to turn into a "feel sorry for New Orleans" lovefest. By the way Indy will have more people visit for the Indy 500 and brickyard 400 than New Orleans will see in good long while.
