This is some crap in my opinion....I tend to belive more in the “all men are created equal” part of our nations Declaration of Independence than most of you tea baggers, but some crippleds getting better seats than me is some bullshite. They belong in the back.
Saints are loved because a guy rose up from his wheelchair and blocked a punt and now you want to send them to the back of the bus? Where will we find the next Gleason if they can't even see the game? You should be thanking them.

I had seats 2 rows from the field for a few years. There was a handicap row in the front right on the field. This guy in a wheelchair brought a hammer to every game and would beat the metal signs on the wall to make noise. Why does he get a pass for bringing in a hammer?

quote:that is a problem for all sideline seats in the lower bowl of the plaza level. Prices went up for everyone in that area.
The price of tickets to access those seats also increased, the lawsuit says, though Bailey's view from them was blocked by players and on-field personnel
quote:The samething occurs for everyone sitting in that area. Should they sue too?
Additional wheelchair seating was moved to the very last row of the 100-level section, and the lawsuit states those seats are not raised high enough for Bailey to see the field when a crowd in front of him stands. A concrete overhang also completely obstructs Bailey's view of the video boards
quote:Money is what this is all about. In the spirit of non-discrimination, screw this guy. The ADA requires reasonable accommodations and the Dome accommodated him in a few ways that he happens to not like. Apparently, he feels he needs to be accommodated more than others who have seats under the overhang or lower in the plaza. Apparently, the Terrace is beneath him as well.
Bailey also seeks an unspecified financial compensation, and the lawsuit claims the LSED has discriminated against him by failing to make the Superdome readily accessible.

This guy is just full of it and looking for attention and probably money. My wife is in a wheelchair. I have season tickets in the terrace. We've sat in the 100s very top row and last 2 years very first row behind the visitors bench. to get to the seats we have access to the bunker club which is located underneath the plaza seating. For the seats on the last row, well yeah, if people stand up you cant see through them. But there are also plenty of TVs right there to look at. Sitting first row behind visitors bench is great. But again, same thing. You really expect to be able to see over the players and coaches when you are that low? You know going in you cant. You have to watch most plays on the video boards. But being that close to an nfl game/sideline is sweet. This dude is full of it and crying over nothing. Dome is perfectly accessible.

quote:I remember getting season tickets in 1998 in the plaza row 15 on the 40 yard line saints side. Thought it was going to be great. Nope. It sucked. The crane camera kept getting in the way, the players standing along the sideline totally obscured plays that came near that sideline between the 25's and if it was third and short and the RB plowed into the line I had to look at the screen to see how far he actually ran. You can't tell if they aren't on the line straight on front of you. I moved to the terrace, a place he shuns.
