This argument is akin to being mad you lost the remote when the house is on fire. Yes it’s bad Grupe missed kicks. But at the end of the day, it’s low on the priority list to fix. If there’s a pattern to him missing, then we talk, but for now, let the kid figure it out. Even Morten missed kicks as a rookie.

Everyone here knows the offense needs to get a whole lot better. That doesn't change the fact that if Grupe makes his kicks then we are 5-1 instead of 3-3.

Assumption is the mother of all frick ups, Bert. You're assuming its a guarantee we stop Green Bay in a second half they were moving the ball on our defense. Also, you're assuming that if we get within one that Houston calls the game the way they did.
Basically, you're playing a game that Jim Mora called out at one point. Coulda, shoulda, woulda...great teams do not play coulda, shoulda, woulda. We are not a great team at the moment, and bitching at the rookie kicker that missed 2 kicks in this game is the epitome of coulda, shoulda, woulda. It's a problem, but not the main problem.

First and 10 at the 24 down by 7. We can not get it in the endzone with 4 tries. So let me understand we lost game because the kicker did not kick 5 field goals.

I’m not assuming shite. Maybe we do end up messing up those games anyway. BUT I do know we never even got a chance because that little hobbit missed all those damn kicks.
