Agreed. Would he ask that if we did not win the superbowl?

No way the Falcon's would claim him after that year he gave them. But Horn is alright in my book.

Joe was just important to the Saints organization as RJ and Deuce, he would have been a great mentor to the Saints young receivers who all have now arrived had he gotten along with Payton.

Joe Horn was a topnotch WR, he used a lot of moves on DB's to get open, that's what I'm talkin about. Everyone has there own personality, doubt they would have replicated him on that.

This needs to be done. We don't have to sign him as a player. Look what we did with Deuce. Sign Joe not as a player but as a locker room guy. He will be a good motivator and lets get him a ring.

I wish he had kept his big mouth shut towards the end--it showed a lack of class/character..showboat.that is why he didnt appeal to Payton...but still like the guy.he deserves to retire in black/gold....hell of an athlete!

I'd allow him to retire as a Saint, but I would give him a cell phone and not a ring.

Joe Horn was a joke player. He was clearly the product of a future Hall of Famer in Aaron Brooks.

Joe Horn was known for taking younger guys under his wing. And he worked as hard as anyone. Dont let his big mouth fool you

Maybe, maybe not. Opinions might be different if Horn had spent 4 or 5 seasons catching the ball from Brees. We'll never know, but I think everyone would certainly have him in the same class as Owens and Chadboy (the real one)but not Moss...Moss is much better than all of those guys.
