I would have been happy with the saints hiring him last year. Very good play caller with us on a terrible team. This year he should he was a great play caller who got the most out of Darnold and those guys.
Great hire by the raiders. All comes down to if Mendoza is successful or not if he will be any good as a HC.

It will be hard for him to overcome the incompetence of Mark Davis.Him and John Mecom are on the same level.KC does have a couple of very good offensensive pieces.Ownership will probably be too much to overcome.

Mendoza will be a bust. He wasn’t even that great behind a transfer OL of 22-24 year olds. He will be a deer in the headlights for the Raiders.

Fair point. The best quarterback they have had in my lifetime is Derek Carr..... Gotta get the quarterback right as we all know.

Don’t forget Carr bailed the Saints out of their cap issues.
