Interesting how you neglect to show Brooks college stats or rushing stats. If you do , one guy looks much better than the other, particularly with what I most despised about Brooks, interceptions. It also appear they ran significantly different offenses or, if they didn't Brooks was really bad at it.
We were talking about Brooks as the Saints QB not Brooks in college. So the fact that you went and got his college stats makes no sense.

Hey, I'm not starting any and people believe this is a possibility because the some on coaching staff and some in the press keep making statements about how they like Jackson, etc. It could easily be a smokescreen or an attempt to influence a team to offer compensation for pick 27 if Jackson is falling that far.
They keep saying stuff because reporters keep directly asking them about Lamar Jackson.

For the record, from an unemotional point of view, Brooks was one of the better QBs the Saints had, but that stupid grin when he threw INTs really got under my skin realy fast.
This I agree.

My thinking on that was simply that we don't know what Jackson will look like as a pro but we know what both looked like as a collegiate. Brooks INT problem existed in college as well as the NFL. Jackson's ratio looks much better.

I would actually like to see several other options addressed before QB and I'm not convinced someone else doesn't jump on Jackson before 27. I would be pissed if we traded up for him, I wouldn't be pissed if we took him at 27 but I also wouldn't be excited about it. I'm definitely not gonna get too worked up about it now based on some stray remarks. I trust the staff to find the appropriate personnel.

Negative...Robert Griffin 2.0 with a little more mobility.

I think he goes to the Cards at 15 actually.

The time for the Saints is now, get a OL or a rusher that can play now! Brees has maybe two years, we need contributors at need positions now!
