If we have Williams and Smith out there instead of Smith and Grant, we go undefeated.

Adam Schefter had reported that the Houston Texans are putting the franchise tag on him. And the price will be a crazy 22 million. I heard that during the reports on espn leading up to this weekend.

That's a hefty price tag for anyone, much less a DE.

It will be $16.6m, not $22m. It's the higher figure between the ~$9.5m for the LB tag, or 120% his previous years salary, and he made $13.8m last year.

NOT HAPPENING

Drew will be almost another 10 million on the cap, almost double what he is making now. Nicks will want a Jahri Evans contract. Colston will want at least the same contract he got a few years ago. Porter will get overpaid by someone because it is a premium position.

Saints will be lucky to retain all their players, much less sign any impact players in FA. Didn't we only have 5 million cap this year during the season? How the hell are we going to find the money for all these guys?

I think we'll release Smith. Beefy unearned contracts like Ellis, Moore and Harper don't help either.

We could have beat the colts w/o him. But he played a big role in getting us there during the reg. season and a huge role in beating the cardinals:

RUSHING
R.Bush 5 -ATT, 84- YDS, 16.8 -AVG, 1 -TD

PUNT RETURNS
R.Bush 3 -NO, 2 -FC 109 -YDS, 1 -TD

ETA: blues: Without reggie we don't sell near as many jerseys

My sister's favorite part of Reggie being here was seeing Kim Kardashian at Saints games.

but they would have had someone else, its not like he's just not there and his production is gone. He had a great game vs the Cardinals, but the Saints kicked the shite out of them.
