Sad to see such an important member from that year go (like it will be when Porter signs somewhere) but good for him for getting paid. I always felt like he was so close to tapping that potential, but never got there. Hopefully he can shine in SD.

Really hate seeing any of the champs go elsewhere but the game is also a biz & that's the way it goes. Thanks Meach, good luck in the future. Anyone on the SB team will forever be a saint in my eyes.

Agreed. The only one I have any ill feelings towards would be Shockey for his antics last year.

Well, in the second game he didn't act up at all. I think he liked it here and was just pissed off about how it went down. Did you see him try and scrap with one of our guys after Harper decked Steve Smith on that dumb arse late hit? No. I can see how people would resent his behavior in that first game but to me it was an overrated topic.

I don't dislike him now, I just didn't like the way he acted. If you want to be fired up to prove something to your former team than by all means go for it. The explicit signals and not shaking anyone's hand after was unnecessary. But he's still a Saint in my mind. We all have our moments. In all honesty, I wouldn't have blamed him for knocking the F out of Harper after that late hit.

They love the vertical passing game, and that's pretty much all Meachem does.
