Because most of his punts were coming when the ball was at or just inside the 50 yard line so he already had a short field and could do his rugby punt. The problem is when we are in our own zone and he can't flip the field. That's usually when he winds up shanking them or a sky kick that goes 30 yards.

Hedley had one solid punt from our 29 (went 48). And had a couple solid ones too (shorter like you said).
He has shown significant improvement the past 2 weeks, I don't think you'll get better this season unless you're talking araiza if he's even in shape.
For kickers, you gotta bring in Maher or something...

Grupe is at 78% this year. I seem to remember Lutz struggling majorly in his rookie year and then with coaching and experience becoming a very good kicker up until his injury.
He's had 1 shank this year. I tend to think he will be fine.

If you can’t do your job… bye. It should just be a revolving door for kickers. Not as much loyalty for them.
