I heard Donald on a hot mic day "imma get Drew's thumb!"

Think he said it to Anthony Hargrove

Peters said kill the thumb and the body will die. It was on Twitter.

it sure does look like 99 was going for the hand. He follows through and doesn't seem to have his eye on the ball at all.

Disagree with your fantastic analysis. Looks like he is trying to swipe at the ball, as all defenders would do in that instance.

Cam Jordan said after the game that he ran 80 yards for nothing.

When asked about that, he said “isn’t it obvious?”

He also referred to the ref as "foot locker, er, referee.”

I’ve sprained, torn and broken both of my thumbs. I can barely bend them and they constantly hurt to this day. I know how it feels.

Maybe because there really isn’t much you can do for the injury. Just gotta let it heel.

I guess Drew can diagnose it and have some super special orthopedic dr wave a magic wand and have him ready in 3 weeks but I don’t see him being the same that soon.

I'm guessing you did it posting endless amounts of drivel on internet forums.

One time it was when I had my thumb in your mothers a-hole and two other fingers in her pussy and I tried to throw her across the room like a bowling ball.

But she was too fat I couldn’t lift her and ended up spraining my thumb.

Larry Holder @LarryHolder
Drew Brees said he will see a hand specialist. He’s concerned and said he hopes it’s not too serious, but doesn’t want to say it’s not serious. Will meet with the specialist later today.

apparently Saints officials fearing the worst

quote:

Landry Football @LandryFootball
Saints staff fears torn ligament in Brees thumb..if surgery needed, could sideline until November...They should know more later tonight/tomorrow...They’re holding out hope it could be less severe but they’re not optimistic.

Chris Landry... who runs the Landry football site... is a former coach, scout, & administrator

Listening to the radio and hearing them play the audio from Brees taking questions from the media postgame, I think you could tell from Brees’ answers and tone of voice that they think its a lot more serious than he or the Saints are letting on so far.
