frick Shreveport? frick you.

Don't be so pissed about the fact that you weren't popular and no one liked you in junior high. Sure, blame that on the S'port folk and not recognize the little turd you were.

Actually I was the neighborhood bully you Dicknose fricking punk and I probably ran up in your Mom a few times if she was decent looking......Bible thumping , Racist , frick-heads like yourself are why Shreveport sucked so bad and probably still does..

P.S. I could sell my 3 bedroom house here and buy a fricking mansion in that shithole if I were so inclined...NOT

Ah yes, with an attitude like that . . .

There are a lot of good people everywhere and a lot of shitty people like you everywhere. If you are in one place long enough you will start to see the same patterns.

"Actually I was the neighborhood bully you Dicknose fricking punk."

So, you admit that you were a troubled kid and no one liked you. Glad that you can admit what a loser you are.

"and I probably ran up in your Mom a few times if she was decent looking."

Uh oh. You had sex with my Mom? shite! This is devastating news. Did your Dad also beat up my Dad?

.....Bible thumping , Racist , frick-heads like yourself are why Shreveport sucked so bad and probably still does..

So, when you say probably still does- I take that to mean that you haven't been back in some time, which means you really don't know how much it has changed.

"P.S. I could sell my 3 bedroom house here and buy a fricking mansion in that shithole if I were so inclined...NOT"

Depending on where your from, this may or may not be true. I traded my two bedroom in Los Angeles for a 5 bedroom house for half the price in Austin.

I have no idea where you live now, but it sucks that you're a Saints fan. In fact, I'm surprised that you even have time to watch football, given the fact that you're kicking arse as the neighborhood bully and frickin' all the soccer moms! Woo hoo!

Fweet. Poot.

I grew up in Bossier City, across the river from shreveport. This thread is f'n killin me!My dad was at the first saints game ever(opening kick return was the only decent play for 10 years)and my entire family is made up of saint diehards.I agree that there is a strong contingent of dallas fans in my area, but the mass majority that make up that # were 49r fans in the 80s,denver fans in the 90s,etc,etc. the saints fans up here are big and bold, black and gold!Ask a lifelong dallas fan up here they will tell you! I'll leave you with a quote from my favorite new saint:

Alexandria is damn near the geographical center of the state. Everything south of there is, by definition, South Louisiana:

Wrong.....everything South of I-10 with the exception of BR is considered South La

It's Louisiana. All towns in this state are crappy. The only reason people stay in BR is for LSU football. N.O. is a whole different story we don't need to get into. At least Shreveport has seasons and gets some cold and warm weather. Ok my point, Louisiana sucks.

Some of my most boring evenings hanging out with friends were in Baton Rouge, during the football off season. We always ended up in NOLA.

Name two things that Baton Rouge has that Shreveport doesn't. Don't say LSU.

At least we could sell out a stadium for an NFL game. Preseason at that.

Being from south LA and going to LA Tech, the majority of people in Shreveport do indeed believe they are part of eastern Texas. I started hanging out there with my girlfriend and friends from school, and I was amazed. They love the Rangers, Cowboys, and have all caught the ghey.

You know Shreveport has the same southern belles right?

Shreveport is about 2.5 hours from Lake Fork, it doesn't get any better.

a) I've traveled around this country a lot, and I have to say the beautiful women are in the SOUTH, not just I-10. There are some gorgeous women in BR, but some move away after LSU.

b) Next year's Bassmaster Championship Classic is going to be held right here, on the Red River. There's more good fishing on Caddo Lake, and even in our man-made resevoir, Cross Lake.

c) Going to New Orleans to eat is a treat that everyone should experience. Eating in Baton Rouge is the same as eating in Shreveport, Monroe, Lake Charles, or Alexandria; they all have the same chain restaurants.

And I'm not buying into the 'East Texas attitude' assertion, either. Shreveport/Bossier is home to one of the country's largest Air Force bases, Barksdale. There are so many people from all over America that are stationed here, and it affects the culture.

And since this thread is in Saints talk, I have to say there are more true fans in Shreveport on the right side, rather then on the 'Boys side. I believe that since the Saints were so bad for so long, and the Cowboys are/were 'America's Team' ( ), that the proximity to Dallas swayed a lot of fair weather fans. Now that the Saints have been fairly good over the past few years, I've definitely have seen a swing in colors to black and gold everywhere.
