Nate Hobbs signed a four-year, $48 million deal last March, but he never really panned out with the team. The Packers will designate Hobbs as a post-June 1 release, so they'll be able to spread out his dead cap hit over two seasons (it will be $4 million in 2026 and $8 million in 2027, according to Spotrac

The Pack just cut this guy. Was the Raiders best corner for a few years. Signed a big deal last free agency with GB. 4/48

Supposedly his best role is as a nickel but the Packers were using him as a boundary corner and he wasn’t as effective. Plus was injured often. Could probably get him at a very discounted rate and won’t count against the comp pick formula.

PFF rating is nearly identical to Taylors.
