Huge needs (bottom 5 starter or even if healthy I'm questioning this)
Left Guard/OL

LB (assuming we're playing a 3-4 front)
Relative needs (we need depth or if our starter gets injured, backup won't do it)

Luxury (if the elite player is there. You take him but it's not an absolute need this year at least)

What have the saints done to address the backup center position? Not saying you draft a backup center to sit on the bench but they cannot let the loss of McCoy be something that wrecks the whole offense and season again.
An top OL that can play at a top level at multiple positions has to be high on the draft need.

It’s not like they’re paying Johnson top tier money. He’s being paid like a mid level starter. Yea he need to elevate his game to make that money worth it (which I do not believe he can) but you can absolutely draft a TE in the 1st or 2nd.

Depressing indeed, but when your recent high draft picks to address pash rusher are Davenport, Turner, and Foskey while letting TRex walk I can understand why they don’t trust themselves and overpaid for Young.
