You guys are ridiculous. He looked pretty good, and lets not forget, this is preseason. For one, neither Colston nor Shockey were playing which put alot of focus on Bush, and the fact that he had a nice 18 yrd run up the middle that got called back cause Lance Moore sucks Donkey balls. Wait to cast judgement till you are able to see an actual portrayal of him in this offense.

I don't have to wait to pass judgement on Reggie Bush. I've seen two full years of him dancing around the middle of the field and falling on first contact.

Not an accurate one no. His first year hee showed great promise as a football player, not necessarily a RB, but a football player. Last year Deuce was hurt, Devery sucked, and half our team was injured, including Reggie. If you don't think the offensive weapons we have added and the one's we have developed are going to contribute to a more productive season for Reggie, than you are an R-tard.

Oh OK, so we'll just overlook his first two years because he's not a RB, even though he's played RB his whole life, and because he didn't have the proper players around him to make him look good. I hope all these variables fall into place for him this year. If not we can just overlook this year too, he'll definitely make it happen next season.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Look, you didn't even need half a season to realize that Adrian Peterson was a top-5 RB last season.

You didn't need two years to realize that Peyton Manning was a franchise quarterback for the Colts.

I sure has hell think two full years of watching Reggie Bush prance around the line of scrimmage and fall on first contact is enough to pass judgement on his abilities as an every down running back in the NFL.

Reggie doesn't need to look like the next LT. We simply need to use RB just like we did that first year. Some in the running game and some in the passing game.
I think when it's all said and done this year, if he stays healthy, he will put up some really good numbers.

I don't know exactly what some of you people expect Reggie Bush to do on the field in order to win your approval.

It's almost like you guys are a bunch of fan snobs. Nothing he could do would ever be enough for you.

You expect him to have the speed of Gale Sayers, the agility of Barry Sanders and the power of Jim Brown.

If he had 1000 yards receiving, 15 TD's on the year and discovered the cure for cancer in his spare time, you would still be beating him up for not having 1000 yards rushing.

He's a different back than what you're used to. Open your damned mind a bit. Not every running back is THE SAME.

but he wasn't THAT great as a rookie. hell he had a game with negative rushing yards

and this was all with deuce still being solid and putting up #1 back numbers and carrying the load

ROUSTER, I think Reggie will put up numbers. But, this about his abilities as an every-down running back. He's just not. And, in order to win ballgames late, you have to crush the defense's face in with the running game. Reggie hasn't provided that in his two years.

We don't need Reggie to be top 5 back. We have so many other weapons than what AP does. I never tried to say he was going to be the best RB in the league, just that he was going to get better and help us to a SB.

Reggie has had some problems converting his game to NFL standards. But to sit there and act like he has done nothing to help the Saints in the past 2 years proves how limited your knowledge of this game. Newsflash, if we didn't have Reggie in '06, we don't make it to the Conference Championship.

and 26 TDs, which is $

if you're a rookie QB in the NFL and you put up bout even INT:TD, you did great. peyton did that, but he threw a shitload of both

we're paying him to be the #1 RB in the NFL

but AD came into the league and said, "frick you"

look at his big games rushing. look at his receiving #s. look at his averages

the question is has he done enough to justify his pre-draft hype, draft position, salary, and post-draft hype?

i say no to all of the above

Way to be all growed up there, buddy. By the way, he was 26 TD/15 INT in his second season (a 90.7 rating compared to 71.2 in his rookie year)...jackass.

I never, ever, ever said he doesn't help this team. Reggie is very important to the Saints, but to say that he will step in and do the things an every-down NFL running back can do just hasn't happened yet. It is what it is.

If you hadn't noticed, we took Reggie Bush with the first pick in our 2006 Draft. He better be a top 5 something.

Reggie had well over 1,000 yards of offense his rookie season. Youre f-ing retarded if you dont think thats impressive. His second year wasnt as good for whatever reason (asked to do too much, injuries, poor blocking, whatever). He's not LT, or AP, or Larry Johnson. He never was. Sorry if some of you dont like that, too bad.

OH... sorry... must have struck a nerve there.

I'll try to be more cautious next time.

I would like to know one thing from you and Towelie, though... who do you want to play in Reggie's place?

Adrian Peterson and LT are unavailable.

Pierre Thomas had what, 7 yards rushing last night?

Deuce will get hurt in game three, again. You know it's going to happen.

Stecker? I actually like Stecker. Maybe we could trade Bush away and start Stecker?

What's your plan without Bush, oh wise ones?

we can't do anything but play him or cut him....he's got a huge contract that no one is willing to trade for, we're stuck like chuck.
