This is a great pickup if he is healthy.I said he should have been picked up last year when he was released. The defense may be shaping up.

I hope he works out, but what is with the saints signing these guys on social security. We are trying to set an over 30 record for employed players I guess.

I see Thomas as being more expendable, but I can't argue with either of these.

With the addition of Spicer, do we let McCray, Spicer, W. Smith and Charleston man the DE position this year and see the move of C. Grant inside to DT???

Coleman is more of that pass rushing DT, that the space eater like Thomas. Thomas and Coleman aren't comparable players IMO like Young and Coleman are.

I think he use to be a pass rusher, I think he might be more of just a solidifier now though, even if he's not a space eater.
