It really doesn’t matter but its funny listening to everyone pretend like the broncos are stacked at WR. Sutton is pretty good but outside of that it’s all jags.

Local reports in Denver have been gushing about the young WRs in camp. I’m sure he had no intentions on trading his big promising wideout but it sounds like the next man up is ready.

3 teams called and CSP was able to get a 4th rd pick.

shouldn’t surprise you that Payton is gambling on those young WRs. He’s won a lot of games with rookie/young receivers from the bargain bin.

Yes the general manager is typically the boss to the head coach. That’s the typical structure in the nfl. Now you have guys like Belichick who have done both and then you have coaches like Mcvay, Andy Reid that may have more leverage than even the gm does but for the Saints you can obviously tell who’s in control.

But let’s hear your take smart guy? Who has the most control in New Orleans? Be honest, you think KM can’t tell Mickey to kick rocks?? You’re out of your fricking mind if you think Loomis answers to anyone but Gayle. And Gayle doesn’t know shite about anything

And you NEED some talent around young QBs if you’re looking to give them a reasonable shot at developing.

But muh rebuild!!

The owner is the only “boss” of the head coach.

No one is getting fired without an owners approval. No NFL owner will keep a GM over a good head coach if it comes down to that for whatever reason.

You ever hear the phrase "Win the battle, lose the war "?

Sure, he could be a nice 3rd WR for us and get a nice modest contract that carries him through retirement.

That's not the biggest issue with this deal. It will 100% lead to us not getting the best QB in next year's draft, and lead to Kellen having to guess again (Like Shough at pick 40) that's the largest negative of this trade.

It's not like we just traded for Justin Jefferson. We traded for a guy that might raise our ceiling by 1 game. It looks nice on the depth chart, but it's an overall, net negative move, even if he pans out.

We are a bad football team. And unfortunately, we are also a poorly run football team. We are going to be bad for a long time with this type of reckless approach.

He shut it down last season. No reason to think he won’t again after we lose 80% of the first half of the season.

How about when you hire a coach you work with him to get the players that fit his scheme and that he has a vision for? Pretty fricking simple if you ask me.

The question wasn't about control but about how acquiring players operates, but let's try to spin to keep the hate and misinformation going.
