because unless something crazy happens, we WILL be in QB range in next years draft.

There are lots of dudes on this board who think it’s a foregone conclusion we will draft one.

And the crazy part about this, is so far (I know, only W2 so we have a long way to go) a lot of the guys that were expected to be locks as better options that Shough are looking like they may not be worthy of 1st round grades. May still be better than Shough, and still plenty of time to "earn" those grades; just not the locks everyone was claiming after the Shough pick.

Hell Lance Moore and Willie Snead both make that catch

I am not 100% certain of this. One of the bigger knocks for these 2 was that at times they would not high point the ball and would wait for the ball to come to them. Juwan had 1 guy overtop, 1 guy underneath, and a 3rd about 5 yards behind him. If you don't' have someone go up and get that, I don't think they have a shot to make the play.

The question I had was he had Olave running the same seam route just a little further outside. Shoudl the throw have gone there to have 1 less defender in the mix? The guy that was underneath the play came from the middle of the field.

The QB can only throw it, he can’t catch it as well…

There was nothing open on that pass. It didn't matter. The one before was a game winner.

You have to throw the ball up and keep it in play, at least. Hope for a tipped ball or PI. Maybe there was a 1% chance it succeeded, but there was a 100% of failure where he threw it. To throw that ball yards out of bounds as the clock expired was ridiculous. I do agree completely that the play before was the best opportunity and Rattler made his best throw as a pro at a clutch time. But we still had another play after that and that throw was as bad as the prior one was good.
