It cost the Saints 15 yards.
Would you have felt the same if it was a stupid roughing the passer or PI call?
The Rams had been shredingthe Saints D all day, and were only down 10.
I've seen enough blown Saints lead with 3:00 left on the clock.
Oh, and I hope that Santy is good to you, and you get the GI Joe with the Kung Fu grip.

It was lame when Joe Horn did it and it was still lame yesterday.

Competitive game. He got what he wanted which is front page news.

Drew Brees just said on 870 MMQB: Maybe that was the same phone Joe Horn left there. Where do you even find a flip phone these days?

Brees had no problem with the celebration because he knew the Team would close the game in the clutch.

This team is going to the ship. Payton and Brees haven't looked this happy in years.

It's just lame. You see it coming a mile away, he has to dig around for the phone, weak sauce. I get that it was a tribute, but I'm like you, it was dumb the first time.

CSP knew about it and told Thomas that whatever he did, don't hurt the team with it. Well, you're only up 10 against one of the best offenses in the NFL and you pick up a 15 yard penalty. But whatever.

One of the things I like about MT is that he's Colston-like when it comes to going about his business. I think MT is a bit more animated than Colston, but both are similar in just going about their work. While it's certainly not the end of the world, the celebration was the last thing I'd have expected from MT. I guess I get why he did it...honoring Horn and all....but like you said, at the end of the day, it's lame.

I think he was heading that way. I have no problem with this, but dude flexes after every catch and there was the game earlier this year where the opposing defense said Thomas would never stop talking shite. He certainly gravitates towards the Horn side of the spectrum. Colston is on the opposite end.

Didn't say you had to give a shite. But to me, stuff like this doesn't surprise me when you look at the trajectory.

Dude balls, so unless he starts costing us on and off the field, have at it.

Thomas backs it up and gets in their heads all game with it. I don't mind it at all. That's called swagger. If he had 3 catches for 26 yards and no TDs then I'd wonder about the show boating, but the dude is lighting up all the top defenders this year.

I don't have an issue with this.....he backs it up. Dude out muscles nearly every db he faces. I love that when the ball is in the air, he takes ownership of that ball. Dudes a grown arse man. :)

This comment will give my age away, but he should act like he's been in the endzone before.

It's "all about me" in today's NFL.
