I hope like hell it ends up this way.
Three bigs and three burners (I suppose Meachem's speed is still legit).

I'm with you. Although I wouldn't be sad if we kept Morgan instead of Meachem. I really want to keep Coleman. I think in two to three years he'll be Colston's replacement.

What exactly has this guy done for you to say he beats out Morgan?
The question is what can he not do?
He's another Jimmy Graham out there.

I would much rather keep Morgan over Meachem. You can never have enough speed. Also, Meach is on his last leg. Besides the run game, I don't see how Meach contributes enough to the offense to justify taking snaps away from the younger guys.

By what account? By this time in camp for Graham's rookie year, they were talking about how well he was doing. Coleman hasn't done shite. Jimmy was also a 3rd rounder.
With that said, I'm very intrigued by him. I want to see him do something in the preseason games. I'm not sold on him being better than Meachem, Morgan, or Tanner, at this point. Those are the guys he has to beat out. I understand he has potential, but this is a win now team. Everyone has to contribute. Clearly he is behind the 3 guys I mentioned, but he'll have his chance.
I hope I'm wrong, but I think he is this year's Chase Thomas.

if all things are even at the end of camp I'd take coleman's potential over Morgan. Morgan is a one trick pony that can't even stay on the field to do that trick.

False.

Could be his biggest problem. But I still don't see Coleman being the guy that takes that roster spot.
However, I will let him play these next 4 games. Maybe he'll make me eat crow. Trust me, he is physically what I wanted in a WR. I really really hope I'm wrong.

It was sarcasm, from me at least.
There's a guy on this board that genuinely thinks Coleman can do what Jimmy does.

I think the Saints signed Coleman as part of a contingency plan incase Jimmy is granted WR status after his grievance and demands WR money in his new contract. If he does the Saints will probably be better off letting him walk and Coleman will be his "replacement" in the red zone.

Whether you believe me or not I think Coleman presents similar mismatches as graham, when he's spilt out.
Gets me every time.

Datty-esque.
But believe it or not, there has been worse threads/posts.
