injuries to Greer and Porter are the reasons we lost any games last year.

I'll go with 11-5, make it to the conference championship, and lose an epic game to the Iggles.

Our run defense was a problem all year long, and that started vs. Miami and Carolina. We don't have that much talent up front, even Williams has said that. I'm really surprised they didn't do more to address the DT spot outside of drafting Woods.

I think we'll see some decent enough DTs get cut by the start of season that we can go after.

I don't think the turnovers will drop off significantly. GW's style lends itself to giving up yards in favor of turnovers, plus we had an elite red-zone defense, which had little to do with turnovers.

Plus I can apply the same "they can't keep up that extreme of a production" logic to "they can't be any worse stopping the run as they were much of last season. Any lucky bounces we saw was easily made up for in the losses of Greer and Porter for a combined 10 or so games.

I think the schedule is very rough this season. Harder than we all give it credit. The short weeks and teams being excited to play us will make it difficult.

I'm thinking 11-5

Turnovers are the result of things happening at the exact right time, whether that's a blitz, a tipped ball, or a player ripping the ball from a WR. I'd bet if you look back at teams Williams has coached, last year's team is probably up there, if not the top in creating TOs. What happened last year was not the norm in terms of created turnovers. Rushing results are the results of personnel, which we lack. Our front seven is very average outside of a few spots and it showed last year.

14-2 I say we drop one to the Falcons and the Ravens. We will stomp the crap out of the Cowgirls.

Legit top 3 secondary gives the front 7 a little extra time to get to the QB. Flukey play will happen in stretches, but we created the turnovers all season save for the stretch at the end where Porter was out/banged up and Greer was out. I know it's just training camp but the defense has been bitching the offense so far. Last season wasn't a fluke. We'll give up yards and some points, but the big plays will continue.
