Most gals love the idea of a horse. When you explain to them how much they would cost, even if free, they usually say, "Nah. I'm good."

I think this may be age dependent

Under 30 and the selfie crowd do not seem keen on caring for something
30 - 50 seem more hit / miss
Over 50 and much greater connection to the horse

Because I have a great connection to my horse.

And when I was young I lived for being at the barn doing horse chores.

BB was probably relaxing on the couch with a glass of wine. No wonder she lit into the OPs arse.

I think you misread it or I miscommunicated it

Age is fixed by birth...

If you are 30 and under now you were born 30 years ago or less and are more the selfie generation and less likely to care for something outside yourself. Not when you personally were 30 or under. I am older but my generation seems more into animals especially the big ones like horses and cows. Maybe it has to do with being born say before 1980 when we as a country were more agricultural and if you were born before say 1950 this would be even more the case.

Good to hear

Trying to get 20 somethings to the track here is bumming me out. just not cool to them and this is a special track. I can understand if it were Turfway or Ellis.

Actually muddy, I was at a brewery drinking a stout when she texted.

And I was just stating the facts. Not trying to light his arse up even though he took it that way
