1986 grad here. We used to say BFE, short for Bum frick Egypt, as in “the middle of nowhere.”
“Hey Dude, can give me a ride after practice?”
“shite no, you live in BFE!”

I don’t know if this counts as slang, but we wore floral shorts called “Jams”. It might have been a brand name at one point, but it became a generic term for loose fitting, floral print shorts down to the knee. This was at a time when men’s shorts were still fairly short as compared to today.
Also, when a song had a cool solo at the bridge, we called that “the jam”. We’d say, “wait, get quiet, here comes the jam!”, all while playing air guitar or air drums.
(Just like Mike Tyson did in the movie, The Hangover, while listening to In The Air Tonight. Tyson doesn’t use the term “the jam”, but it’d been cooler if he did.)

When a girl was a bitch, she was “on the rag” whether she was on the rag or not.

that's the only one that might be attributed to the 80s, all of the others have been around a lot longer

This is a good one. In the 90's it evolved into letters, "That chic is OTR."

“Kag”, to kick a dudes foot as your walking behind them to make them fall.
“Scats”, cheap tennis shoes like ones from Bargain Town or Payless.
