not sure what’s funny, her company is in all 50 states and 16 countries, they’re pushing the product, and they don’t deal in rotgut

ETA: I don’t profess to be a wine expert or sommelier, but my wife most definitely is, they don’t buy it if it doesn’t pass the tests

Yep. He was the first to go, so he had the least room to gather speed for takeoff.

And he, along with all the other pilots knew that since they were launching early due to being spotted by a Japanese fishing boat, there was a good chance they’d run out of fuel before reaching Chinese controlled territory. At best, they’d come down in Japanese controlled areas or run out of fuel somewhere in the Sea of Japan off the coast of China.

those baws had alloy balls, stainless steel, iron, and brass, it's no wonder fuel was an issue

Spirit has been on the verge of bankruptcy for about 2 years now. Now the Iran War and the corresponding rise of oil prices will be the last nail in the coffin for them.
No rational competitor or the reasonable members of the flying public want a crippled carrier.

It’s bad for a multitude of reasons.

TWA and Pan Am were perennially on the verge of bankruptcy, legeacy carriers like a few low cost carriers to hang around, they're not competition but they use it to try and keep the pressure on their labor groups by telling them we have to compete with these guys

My husband would totally go to the mall with me. I’d start by getting him a daiquiri.

went to a wedding in Nola a couple of weekends ago, I brought a suit for the event but when we get to town my wife decides I need a couple of new suits so we went shopping, I absolutely hate trying stuff on, but that day it was actually enjoyable and I didn't even know malls were even a thing anymore but we went to a Macy's in a mall, on Causeway I think? and it wasn't trashy, ghetto, and the salespeople were actually very friendly and helpful
never understood what they were trying to gain, trashing their own cars for insurance money? what were they going to do, pocket the cash and drive around in trashed out cars?
no lunch for the wicked here, well maybe a Shiner, up to me to figure out where to take the wife for the weekend

My wife buys her wine at Costco.

Costco has a good selection of good wines, wife is in the wine bidness, mostly upper end, Costco is her single biggest client
