Having your buddies swype booze from the Pig while working
Everyone I knew who worked there did that. You'd just tell them what you wanted, and they'd sneak it out back

And that old bat who'd sit right in the front peeling potatoes watching Days of Our Lives in the middle of the lunch rush line.
The grilled shrimp poboy was fiya too.

Damn I forgot about rags, I never could bring myself to actually eat inside the place, but damn they made a mean poboy

It wasn't that bad. You'd have to clean your own table most of the time.
Ok, all the time.

I don't mind cleaning my own table, it was the dim lit and cigarette smoke filled atmosphere I didn't like. The cooks kind of gave me the creeps too, food made up for it though.

Legends Sports. Where everything was 20% over retail, but your parents would rather pay that than drive you to Lakeside.
Badeaux's in Covington...burned down
Land O Pines... Still there I think.
Mountain bike trails in old landing, and that awesome sewer treatment plant.
The old scrap yard where Gilsbar is now.
Riding bikes to IGA to get poboys to get poboys the size of your torso for like $3
I love that HJ Smith & Sons and Roy's are still open on Columbia.

ETA: should have read the 5 pages first before posting this.
My friends dad owned this property back in high school. So to all you who had parties out there, we probably know each other

How about the rope swing at the overpass. It was always a good time to run up the bridge there and jump off as you waved at passer by's

Ah, the old Hummer hole. Definitely drove my Tacoma through that many times. Only bad part about it was all of the shite in it
