I too have a Carbon Bronze '08 TL with almost 100,000 miles & I love it. Best car I've ever owned. Powerful enough & very reliable...
I absolutely hated the design of the'09-14 years but I think the new design is much better & going in the right direction. I would def give it serious consideration when buying again. It's hard to beat the value in these cars. My choice would be the base w/ the 4 cylinder cause it's lighter & more of a drivers car.

My wife has a 2009 TSX that I bought last year with 50k miles for about 17k. It is roughly the same cost of of a high end accord (a little more), but just felt a lot nicer to me.

My wife is driving an MDX (2012?), she likes it.
I enjoy driving it.

Currently drive a 2006 6 speed TL. Not getting rid of it anytime soon

No interest in the new model. I bought a used 2010 6-speed MT that I will keep a long time (37k miles so far).
It's a blast to drive, with 305hp and the AWD/torque vectoring. Took a spin at NOLA Motorsports and can't wait to go again.
Definitely did not buy for the looks, though I've gotten used to it.

I love my 07 TL. Good power and marvelous sound system. I play DVD-As and DTS CDs regularly. Would love to get another if anything should happen to it. I don't mind the looks of the TLX.

I had a 96 tl with the 5 cyl. I loved that freaking thing. I was looking at a tlx but needed an SUV for the extra room.

It appears they are slowly reversing the grotesque "transformer" styling that they came up with a few years back.
I still don't care for the front end of the car and the fact they try and make the front end very similar across the entire line regardless of model.

I couldn't decide between the Lexus Es350 and new Acura TLX. However, once I test drove the TLX - it was a no brainer TLX offers more bang for your buck. Performance is impressive, A lot of technology/features come standard and fuel economy is much better than advertised. Inside is spacious - i never been inside an TL but its supposed to be the same size. Really happy driving my new TLX everyday. Glad I went for a test drive.
