I would also say his wife screwed up by admitting fault. This is not good.
Also good news is no reputable lawyer is going to take this case and front money for her doctor visits and testing.

Don’t even answer. Do you really want her recording you apologizing for something she could try to use against you? How do you know she isn’t going to get hurt/injured somewhere else then go to the hospital and blame or try to sue y’all? I would forget this even happened. A similar thing happened to a family member at an off-leash dog park. The other party sued and my family member’s homeowners insurance demanded that they get rid of the dog.
