My favorite is when they get moved there after a page or two and the politards come in after the gentlemen of tOT. It’s a fantastic illustration of the disaster our society has become.

Try not paying your property taxes and get back to us.

Make it proportional. 1 vote per acre.
Most folks don't even own an acre.

People should have a government that reflects the population.
One city owning the politics of an entire state is pathetic. Its time to redraw some political lines.
So a majority loses its value because it decides to live on top of itself?

People either don’t know how to have a discourse or just don’t care, or both. Disingenuous talking points are met in turn or just met with shitposting and as a result, nobody gains any empathy for other viewpoints or any further understanding but boy do people learn to hate others with ease
What a fine state of affairs

Gerrymandering is already rampant, and a huge problem.

It's a silly one. I know tons of folks who pay more in taxes than me, yet under your system I get 24 votes and they get none. Seems more like a scheme to peddle worthless land, 1 acre at a time.

Ok, but why wouldnt I pay the taxes on property I own outright?

Soon, there will be a great shift. These Democratic urban shitholes will collapse.

Can we vote to move Jxn, MS to LA?

No, it’s a scheme to watch people’s heads melt when they get 1/4 vote and my wife gets 25,000. Some men just want to watch it all burn.
It’s also a joke, I’m not being serious. I thought that was more clear.

Congrats, you just gave Bill Gates a billion votes.

Of course it is, there is a reason literally no country operates under a system of property-based suffrage and America also did away with it.
And really, if pressed(and many just have outwardly said it), the only real argument in favor for why it is superior is because they believe their ideology will gain a monopoly on power.
It’s not about improving the system, it’s just a back door way to justify a sort of one party, limited representative feudalism so they can impose their will on a majority of the population that doesn’t want it

I didn't say that. Nice Straw Man comment.
But I am sympathetic to those voices, I understand why they think those things. Our checks and balances are eroding. In the face of pure unfettered democracy, it's natural to take a closer look at who gets to vote. Intellectually, certainly a person as smart as you can see that.
