Man, what a horribly written article. That was hard to read.
re: Would you rather Fridays or Mondays off for a 3 day weekend?
Posted by fallguy_1978 on 3/5/26 at 9:46 am to WaydownSouth
I usually take Monday's off when I just want to burn a day. The reason is that we are usually busy at work on Monday and Friday is pretty laid back. I'm getting more bank for my buck

I think this team will eventually find their stride, but we were probably overrated to start the season.

I knew we didn't get it, but I'm not signing up for something else. I've grown to hate all of the subscription BS

Any recommendations around the BR area? Tire has less than 3000 miles on it.
Mexican shop on Coursey near Stumberg will do it in 10 minutes. Unsure if it will hold for you long term though. It's not far from the old Winn Dixie, but on the opposite side of the street. I don't remember the name, but you can't miss it.

I don't think we will know much about this team until we get several weeks into SEC play. A random weekday loss doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things.

I'm not sure about that. They'll find their stride. I think the lineup will be really good. Schmidt might end up being our ace.

Yep. That was never part of Baton Rouge whether people thought it was or not. St George didn't do anything different than Zachary or Central.

I hate this stupid arse logic. We are capable of doing multiple things at once. Just because there is a military operation going on doesn’t mean domestic issues aren’t being addressed.
Yeah, let's just print more money for another war.
Why can't I afford anything? Derp.

I care more about how people are doing in Indiana than Iran or Israel. We are running $2 trillion budget deficits right now. Sorry things aren't going great over there guys. I hope it works out for you all.

I think the Iranian government is terrible, but I don't think they are some major threat to Americans. Even if we are successful, we have a terrible record at regime change.

The case for Iran being an enemy of the US is monumentally stronger than Iraq
The case for them being a threat to the US isn't. American citizens are just tax cattle doing Israel's bidding.

But sure. Not a threat at all.
Just like Iraq I'm sure?

I just don’t see that working.
It would cost 3+ trillion a year to pay all US adults 1k per month. That's a pipe dream. Buy more guns and ammo.

Another dumb war with a country that wasn't a direct threat to us. We are bombing them for Israel.

At one point Dominos really tasted like the box it came in, but I had it awhile back for the first time in years and it was actually pretty good.
Agreed. It's way better than Papa John's or Pizza Hut to me these days.

It feels weird to say, but Dominos has been the best of the big 3 for years now, and they used to be the worst.

Yeah, if enough people lose their jobs these companies doing mass layoffs are going to tank their own businesses.

I'm more worried about my kids than myself. I'm 48 and I don't see my job going away in the next 10 years. I'll likely be in a position to retire early at that point unless the market tanks for the next decade, which is also possible
