Why would someone chose to have a pit bull over another breed?

Has anybody mentioned the 4 year old girl killed by their 130 pound pit bull pet in Houma last week? Only took the cops 13 shots to kill it.

How do they know the cobra would bite AND kill the people?

Maybe the dog would have attacked the cobra anyway.

I asked that earlier.

So far, I've gotten no answer.

Wasn't a pit bull. It was American Bully. But you know the cops said "I'm 100% positive it was pure pit". Oh shut up already

Anyways, you cats still talking about this? This is old news man, you missed it yesterday. Had all the OT dumbasses here

Did they do DNA testing? We were told yesterday the only way to prove a dog is (or in this case isn't) a Pitbull is by DNA testing.

Also, didn't the American Bully breed only emerge as a back in the 90's due to breeding Pitbulls with Staffordshire Terriers in order to create a sort of "super" pitbull?

ETA, For comparative purposes....

An American Pitbull Terrier

American Bully

You don't have to. They are two very different breeds. American bully is a shorter dog with pointed ears and a deep chest. They are bred for their muscle and power and it is very rare you see an american bully at the size of a pit. American bullies should generally weigh more than a pit because of the muscle stature, and pits shouldn't really be more than 80 pounds. You can say it was on steroids, but if it was a bully then it wasn't.

Isn't a true pit bull if it's ears are shorter and pointed like they bully. Chest also makes a big difference. You can easily tell the muscle tone difference. Go to this link and tell me Niko doesn't look like the one on the left. LINK

Yes, it was bred to create a shorter but more powerful and more muscular looking one since the original ones were used for therapy more than anything back then.

Because they're poor, black, or have neck tattoos.

What do I win?

Vader, i have friends who breed them. they bred bulldogs, staffys and a few others. an american bully just looks like a roided up bulldog with a longer muzzle.
and no, they didnt do dna testing. apparently the guy pulled his instagram account saying how he used to beat the dog, or at least thats what i've heard. it was a mastiff mixed with something else, coming from the kimbo strain i think. thing wasnt a pit.

tyger, i own him because of he's calm and good around people. hes a good companion, and unless i tell you hes a pit, you wouldnt know. i prefer pits to other dogs for these reasons. i don't like beagles, labs, goldens.. if our next dog isnt a pit or staffy, its going to be a catahoula, viszla, or ridgeback.

and fyi, the neighborhood i live isnt da hood, most of us are college graduates with well paying jobs.

Owning a pit means you're black or poor? Wow

You missed the part where I mentioned the neck tattoos. I would wager that the majority of pit bull owners fit those descriptions.
