I have an American Staffordshire Terrier. I recognize that they are very similar to pits, but there are differences between the two.
He's very large and a trained guard dog. I've had him since he was 7 weeks old. He'll be 7 this month.
He's great with my son, who is just over 2. But, as a parent, these stories make me very nervous, regardless of how trained and great my dog is.

Well the common denominator in these fatal attacks seems to be a single breed. Call me crazy but logic would dictate that breed is the problem.
