They're catching that 100 year itch I guess.

Private insurance here in New Orleans is around $600 / month for a family of five.
There must be better deals out there.
That's a pretty good rate, actually. I'm assuming high deductibles and/or co-insurance?
Probably a condition for the interview if I had to guess. These fricks are so protected and entitled. All of them, democrats and republicans alike. Today's republicans are fricking retarded, but slightly less retarded than today's democrats.
The problem we're faced with is that we're constantly forced to decide which retard we want to vote for.

This is the Lane Kiffin board, baw. Keep George Soros out of it, unless you have reason to believe he's paying Brian Kelly's buyout.

Thank you! Great info in this thread, and please keep contributing if anyone has other stuff to add. It’s all very helpful.
Forgive me for the stupid question, but do you still pa the cart fee if you walk? Is it literally a cart fee or simply just a charge to play even as a member?
Riverdale was awesome and is 95% of my childhood! I miss it so much and I always have dreams about that place.

Absurd they're charging what they are right now. $70 to play the 9 hole and $140 to play Links.
It’s strictly private at Pelican Point now, and the membership is all you pay. What are you talking about? Unless you’re referring to the guest charge?
re: What age were you introduced to Golf? What age did you introduce your kids to Golf?

I grew up in Donaldsonville and back then, we had Riverdale Country Club there. I grew up swimming in the pool because we were too poor to have a pool of our own. While swimming, my dad would play golf, then as I got a little older I started riding along with him and eventually started playing too. I guess I started playing at age 8 or 9 but I would hit the ball and/or putt with my dad long before then.
I played a LOT in my teen years and actually got pretty damn good, but then I quit in college and only recently got back into it this past January. It was so obvious that I took off about 15-20 years when I started back again but yesterday I birdied for the 2nd time in 20 years, so I'm starting to get the feel for it again. The hole before that, I triple bogied .
My son is 11 now and he started playing with me when I got back into it a few months ago, and I dare say the game of golf is his first love lol. He can't get enough of it.
Golf is amazing, peaceful, stressful, and a money pit, but it's the best thing you'll ever get hooked on.
PS - does anyone here remember Riverdale in Donaldsonville? It was such a shame when it burned down. It just wasn't the same after that! They blamed it on an electrical problem but part of me always wondered if it was intentionally set on fire because it seemed like they sure did try to run it into the ground after that!

PUSSY!!!
Yes I’m leaning towards the Lakes at Pelican to be honest. Can’t really beat the price for it either.
Thank you for saying this, because looking at the satellite pics of the property sure doesn't scream anything out of the ordinary, so I was genuinely confused.

re: SCOTUS to vote on birthright citizenship...Trump is concerned as to their ruling.

Congress can't invalidate the Constitutional baseline with this authority.
Just like Congress shouldn't be able to create a class of persons via statute that usurp the Constitution, either. That would make Congress superior to the Constitution, which nobody actually believes.
The amendment literally says Congress has the power to enforce the provisions of the article. Stop being so dense.
quote:
Birthright citizenship was intended for slaves.
I get that argument, but the constitution doesn't explicitly state that. At least not that I can see. I see that "the Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article", though. So maybe next step after this ruling is to get congress to codify citizenship standards. :dunno:
I like Trump's goal with this, but to ask the SCOTUS to rule against the constitution is retarded. To bitch about the ruling is even worse.
I'm MAGA and have been since 2016, but this war in Iran has really exposed Trump for being his age. Either his age is starting to get the better of him, or he's a complete fricking jackass on this and has no business calling the shots during a war. The messaging has been horrendous and combined with him pretending to be Jesus Christ, I've been finding it impossible to defend him much lately.
You can't throw a queen in jail!

Supposedly it's part of the Lakes membership. I need to call to make sure I'm interpreting the info correctly.
