STILL driving a 2011 Altima 2.5 135k original CVT and all. IDGAF.

$0/mo. car payment.

God forbid one actually performs regular maintenance on a vehicle.

Edit: id still be driving my 2001 Buick Lesbare Limited, but I gifted it to a young person who was struggling financially at the time.

Old Betsy saved that persons life too, when someone ran a stop sign and t-boned them.

Saved my truck allowance for 4 years that was my down payment. So I spend about half of my truck allowance now. 800 a month last 2 employers

For you math-challenged folks out there, "average" means for every $500 note out there, some baw is carrying about a thou.

#Letthatsinkin - as many $1000s are there are $500s in a nation where the median income is about $75k(gross). Median mortgage is $2000 and many folks carry 2 car notes, so a typical situation might look like:

Couple in their 30s, netting $5200 a month give back at least $3k for just house and cars.
