You do whatever it takes. I negotiate huge contracts and sometimes drive a forklift and bust my arse physically. Hiding behind a desk is pussy shite.

You get paid to to do whatever the guy who signs your paycheck decides. I sign them, and am happy to cut down on OT...

I can drive any forking thing.

First thing on 4 wheels I drove was one of my fathers forklifts. I own a German Linde warehouse lift which is phenomenal and a couple of extended reach Lulls. They are beasts but a fortune to work on.

Watched an 18 wheeler last year across the street pull out of the loading dock and apparently the idiots left the forklift in the trailer without a brake on. When that bastard rolled out the back we heard a loud boom and the building actually vibrated from the impact. The forklift was standing straight up on its rear end.

Just thought I would throw that out there.

I don't loan anything I own. Stopped that many years ago when a neighbor borrowed my lawnmower and moved out in the middle of two nights later with my lawnmower in the U Haul.

After listening to my wife tell me what a dumbass I was for three months imagine his surprise when he came home from work at the Campbells Soup factory in Paris, Texas to find me sitting in his driveway. Myself and my friendly pursuader, which had 3" steel shot in it convinced him to give it back.

I can give you a salesman's number from United Rentals.

Yep, Sounds like you are on a smaller lift. They tend to be a bit rougher, we have the Case lifts . They are a smoother ride but he'll getting on and off a lot .....it never gets easier btw
