Not a murder house, but close.

My roommate after college was looking for a house. He bought one, sight unseen, from a bank repo auction.

We went at night to take a look at it. The electricity had been turned off, so we had to use flashlights.

We're looking around, and I notice something all over the walls in the front room. "What is that?" We realize its blood.

Then we notice a bloody trail leading from the front room into the den area. Then a big pool of it on the carpet.

"Jesus Christ, man," I said. "Did you just buy a murder house?"

Later, while we were gutting the house, we got to know some of the neighbors. They told us that the couple that lived there before, the husband caught his wife talking to another man on her computer. Enraged, the husband picked up the keyboard, and started beating her with it.

What we saw on the walls must have been the initial blood splatter when he hit her in the head. Then the blood trail as she tried to get away from him. And a pool of blood where I can only imagine she had either passed out or had given up fighting him.

When we were gutting the house, we found all kinds of weird shite in the walks; like bottles with notes in them that said things like "I am the true God of this world."

It could turn into a murder house if someone barges in here and provokes my two dogs.

Yeah. What a mess people create.

If I remember correctly don’t they think she is in a landfill.

After the hale boop commet cult (Heavens gate) died in a house in a nice part of San Diego, I believe the house was ultimately torn down and a new one built in its spot.

I know there was legal action over non disclosure when some people bought the BTK killer’s house.

FYI:

A murder in a house in Louisiana does not cloud or affect the legal title.

Sellers and agents are not required to disclose a murder or any death on the property.

The law explicitly excludes homicide or other violent deaths from being considered material facts that impact real estate transactions.

This legal framework means that in Louisiana, a murder in a house is treated purely as a non-material psychological impact, with no effect on title or mandatory disclosure
