Amazon firestick with netflix, amazon prime, and Kodi/exodus and you will never miss cable.

i havent had cable for over 2 years, and im never going back until i can pay for only the channels i want without having to bundle them with the 783 channels i do not want

what do you guys do for a dvr when you cut the cord?

do you just do without? or do those services (sling, psvue) offer an "on demand" type of service? It's not like a live tv channel.

I'm in the process of ditching DIRECTV right now. I need to do a little more research.

Tech board. Read the sticker thread. TONS of info from cord cutters over there, including the infamous Kodi.

So $75ish already plus another $50-$85 for the Internet to run all of it which gets you pushing $150ish. How much are really "saving" by doing all of that?

I am paying for Amazon prime for other reasons and would still have it even if I had cable.

I split a Netflix account with my brother.

I got rid of cable tv. I pay 58 dollars a month for wireless internet with eatel. I have an Amazon firestick with the Kodi TV app installed on it. I can watch movies that are at the theater, plus any TV series you can think of. I can stream all live sports also.

Picked up a digital antenna at CVS for $15 and I have Sling, Netflix, and Hulu. That's all I need and it's cheaper than it would be for me to have cable.
