I’m in a similar situation. Have kids though so not too keen on risks at the moment. So I’ll keep on keeping on for now. If you’re a single man or don’t have children, do whatever you want baw.

In training I always hear "This is a legal document" I translate it as "Some politician made some stupid law that some lawyer got rich exploiting and now we have to pay someone to fill out a report that nobody gives a shite about and we are passing on the cost at a profit to the customer".
You have just described modern health care perfectly.

I stopped giving one a few years ago. My job can be rewarding sometimes, but 60-70% of it is just soul crushing menial crap and/or dealing with awful, selfish people. I am grossly overpaid for what I do, which is why it’s hard to leave. The salary affords me the opportunity to travel and pursue things outside of work I enjoy. And when I look back at all of my jobs, they’ve all pretty much been the same dynamic, so even if I found something else, I’d be right back here at some point.

If I were you, I would quit my job to work on my rap career.

I did an audit of my monthly alcohol expenses since March (COVID), incredible is all I could say.
I'm sobering up - yesterday was day 1
I was spending $500.00 - $700.00 a month on booze and feeling pretty shitty daily
For me probably half that but I’m not going to add it up. I haven’t been a drunken lout or anything, just an extra day or two a week to have a cigar, couple of drinks and watch a show.

I truly believe that people that have true peace with God are the happiest with or without material things. I am not there .

I stopped giving a frick and quit my job on February 29th.
I drink coffee in the morning and smoke a bong. Then I tinker around the house, go fishing, etc. Today I plan on practicing with my bow and taking it easy.
Oh and kill the hell out of squirrels. They've done a few thousand dollars worth of vehicle damage. Killed 2 earlier this morning.

My drinking has definitely picked up during the past 6 months. Need to cut back on it. Football season starting up isn’t going to help.
