I'm uptown at a bar and it is dry.

My wife is stuck and can't get home to our house in lake view.

Old Metairie just a couple of blocks from 17th St. Canal hardly has puddles but got the same heavy rain as NOLA. Is it that much higher?

Yeah me too. Just took a ride through the Garden District and water isn't bad anywhere I saw.

Don't worry about Mitch, he and his cousin with the concrete business will absolutely profit off of today's heavy rainfall. Bourbon street's construction will definitely require another couple hundred grand, and maybe a few of the non-Mitch-owned parking lots will be unfit for vehicles until they repair "damages" caused by the flood. Hey, guess who's cousin owns a concrete company that can help out with that!

Probably what it would take.

I would almost bet that it results in strictly assholes though.

Damn how much rain did Nola get today?

What ever it is the media is going to say it is record rain fall. The problem is the city is not cleaning out the drains/catch basins.
