Uncle (Morehouse Parish) was bitching about insurance rates due to S La hurricanes one time. Pretty good rant until I reminded him that everyone S of I-10 kept everyone N of I-10 in business. He dropped the subject after my explanation of the financial facts.

The idea that south Louisiana people are “insecure” about north Louisiana is like thinking people from manhattan and Boston are “insecure” about rednecks from Alabama, and not the other way around
