The beast only deferred to me for the rest of it’s (unfortunately) long life.

Me too, stopped during COVID because the paper copy I read was interrupted (my ability to get it).
I’ve picked it up some since and it’s no longer dad’s WSJ.
I still see it some for financial news but there’s woke creep in that coverage as well.
