Doesn’t even have to be that, either. I know a couple women constantly upset about still being single that are quite a handful just as acquaintances much less partners. Taking the day to lay around the house and cry, having emotional days where they take it out on others, etc.

This isn't limited to women, a lot of people tend to go after people that aren't right for them and then complain about how nice guys finish last or younger girls take all the good guys.
