Is it frustrating that you haven't found a good excuse to shoot and kill and innocent black man yet in your career?

I hope you’re kidding. But if not. F that man. Why would I wanna take a persons life. I don’t know how I would react.

Is the vet selling dime bags here and there or pushing ounces to pounds?

Pushing. In my hypothetical let’s say he’s selling an up to an oz at a time to a bunch of other people who just take it home and smoke on their back porch. Maybe some other people. Bakes brownies or something for granny in the middle of chemo who doesn’t want to smoke it. Basically productive citizens who just want to relax and enjoy life on their own terms, not bothering anyone.

Do you even bother with someone like that? And if you do how many swat teams do you send to break down his door?

But what’s the nastiest, most gruesome thing you’ve seen at a crash site, and how do you react to it? I’ve seen some pretty gnarly pictures that I couldn’t imagine seeing in real life.

Watched two drunks race and rear end a pick up in front of me going 40+ and the kid wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was ejected and his head was severed by the windshield. Of course the drunks weren’t hurt. Hardest part was telling his mom she couldn’t see her son yet.

Why are you cops writing so many tickets for speeding but look the other way at texting and driving?

They shouldn’t. But I would say it’s easier to prove in court.

I've never really understood being cool with people using something but not being cool with someone selling it.

If I got pulled over and it was clear I had been drinking. How much cash would it take for you to let me go?

Where do you eventually want to end up in the department after patrol?

Maybe a training supervisor or detective. I don’t see myself has being a brass person. I’m not very political.

How long was the academy?

Theory portion. Learning the laws and things like that. 12 weeks and the real academy was 12 weeks. In house academy for the department was 6 weeks.

I usually don’t bother with people like that. Sometimes I arrest the guy, but I don’t have the chance to dig dip into his or her life. That’s was the narc officers do. But I haven’t been involved with swat for marijuana yet.

Does your department participate in DARE? If so, what is your opinion on the studies that have shown that kids that attend DARE are more likely to try drugs?

The school and school resource officer does. I don’t like it personally but I don’t teach it or haven’t been through it, in many years.
