you'd be wrong as it applies to autism - take it from a guy who carries a flag for "self-help" and taking responsibility for one's actions. I have a grandson that is a high-functioning autistic child. Smart and loving kid, but has difficulty responding and expressing himself to sometimes simple questions. He can ask anyone their birthdates and provide the day of the week for this year, last year, or your actual year of birth - 8 years old!

A few years ago, 1 in 88 children were being diagnosed as somewhere on the Asperger/Autism spectrum. I believe the number is now 1 in 64 or 1 in 68. I'm pretty sure it's real.
Autism as a label is ridiculous, because it’s so broad that it loses its meaning. Placing a high functioning person with Aspergers (which isn’t a thing anymore) and an adult who can’t piece together a coherent sentence in the same classification does not help the study of that classification.
I scored a 12/50
