Club Fyre was in the early 2000s... maybe like 04?
Was about ask if it may have been after I graduated and went to Dallas. 2001-02 or so. I went maybe once and was not my scene anymore.

Yep I only went once. It wasn't open long - there was a shooting or bust of some sort and they had to shut down if I recall correctly

Sounds about right. By that time my brother was out of the scene as well and I was married with a little kid at home. Sammys or Ivar's was my goto for beers by then.

Well Martini, I'll join the rank and file of who you probably crossed paths with back in the day.
Went to school with Pinegar. Partied at bonfires just south and just north of Gardier. Went to school with McMurdos. Knew the McCanns, Massey's, Nesbits, and Thibideauxs. Used to go to Ramers on my motorcycle and get a bbq beef Poboy and a Barques and eat in JT park .

Well two things I do know about you. You smoked dope and we both know someone that was America's Most Wanted with Bubba and John.
I still see one Macmurdo, Nesbit, Thibodaux as well as Noto, Torregrossa, Westerman, Montalbano to name a few. No idea what happened to Pinegar or the McCann brothers.
And Randy Meador went to school with us when his old man had the Catfish House Kajungee mentioned.
And Libby Cevelo worked at Jefferson Lounge on Floynell and Westminister Lounge back in the apartments.
We hung at Tiger Lair playing pool and at Chucks Place which was another Tigerland Bar way in the back that not many remember.
Was at a bonfire on Bluebonnet at Thompsons house where we burned an Ayatollah in effigy during the Iran hostage crisis. Tall guy named Moss from JT built it and I can't remember his first name.
Remember a bonfire down River Road and I think it was John Lilydahl that crashed his Trans Am and died?
Glad to see an old one here. I can keep going.

I still tell people about the bonfires on the levee. Good times.
And paint filled eggs against our rivals.
I grew up on Annabelle Ave in Old Goodwood. Went to Goodwood Elem, Westdale and Tara.

I wonder when the outcry will begin over the name of that school (and most of the streets in that subdivision [all plantation homes]).

I saw Rocky III and Return of the Jedi at University 4 theater.
Saw the original Star Wars at the Robert E. Lee theater on Plank.
Saw Empire Strikes Back at the Bon Marche Twin.
How about the Steak and Ale on the corner of Sherwood and Florida?
JC Penny on Government near Catholic High.

I used to work at that Steak and Ale.
Martini, I do remember the John Lilledahl crash in the curve. Couldn't remember the guy named Moss.
Do you remember a guy with the last name Platte? Dude was legendary. I still get people laughing recanting Platteisms.
