Still mostly dark in oakhills, kind of surprised.

And this is why tigerdroppings (specifically the OT) is awesome and better than any type of social media in BR. I live in Jefferson terrace and was just telling a friend that I don’t understand why no power from bluebonnet/I-10 to college/Jefferson has been restored (besides for the bocage gas station which was a train wreck this afternoon).

I was complaining that I wish entergy would just be transparent. If it’s going to take two plus more days then just say so. I know they’re busting their arse but they’re not communicating properly.

Was just contemplating with the girlfriend about just heading out in any direction but didn’t want to leave only to have power restored within 24 hours.

And yes I have been prepped sufficiently for 72 hours besides for not having a generator which will never happen again (just bought the house less than a year ago). Thought between my house, my work office, or one of ten good friends, all in different neighborhoods, someone would have power, but nope.

I just don’t understand the lack of getting people back on when I see certain areas coming back on (and not talking about BR CC) so don’t feed me the main/substation crap.

My dad lives in oak hills and he is going crazy not having his lights back on. He is staying with us but I know there is nothing like sleeping in your own bed. He is thankful to stay with us having AC. I can’t imagine not having power right now with this heat.

Different areas have different issues like dealing with trees or more extensive repairs. It’s not like they approach an area and flip a coin to see if they move on to the next

Money talks in this town!! Hence CCL power is restored. Isn’t that amazing How fast you get power back when you got the power and the money . It’s all about politics in this town.

Entergy not making much progress in Southeast BR. It's causing other problems and crime is about to skyrocket.

So that is why Southpark, Gardere, and Valley Park were among the very first places to have power restored?

I feel confident saying that I don’t think anyone living in those neighborhoods has any money or connections.
