If you see an electrical worker driving by, let them go. They’re not in your neighborhood for fun. Every day each worker is stopped by about 20 customers at 2-5 minutes each. They need Oxygen, wanting to show us the problem, ask for restoration times, and wanting to know where we’re from. I think I can speak on behalf of all employees from Entergy, CLECO, Demco, etc.... Be happy we’re in your neighborhood, and LEAVE US THE frick ALONE! I don’t tell you how to operate on my wife’s tits. I don’t tell you how to operate your plant. We’re looking for problems that caused the outage, making sure no one else is working in the area before shooting it, and making notes on things that need to be fixed, or should be fixed when possible.

Does Entergy receive FEMA money for restoring power? If they do are they intentionally dragging the process out in order to get more of our tax dollars?
wow , how do you downvote a question? Must have hit a nerve.

They down voted it because it is a bad question. You think Entergy comes out ahead both financially and from a reputation standpoint when power is out longer? You think they like answering to the PSC when it comes to extended outages?
Or course maybe I read your question wrong? Hopefully that is the case.

Does SantaFe smoke rock with Hunter Biden? I’m just asking a question?

I have no idea how they're going to get this going in Walker within the week even. Lines are down everywhere.

Any baws see any Entergy trucks near Southdowns? I saw the Bayonne apartment complex off Stanford has power now…

Looks like EBR went from 109K to 102K accounts overnight.

Old Goodwood has at least 3 lines down, two trees knocked down lines on Seven Oaks..and one on Roseneath that backs in from Tara.

I am on the back end of Sevenoaks near Carter

It’s pretty amazing how spotty the Entergy outage map appears across south Louisiana. There doesn’t appear to be any rhyme or reason to the untrained eye.

It's all about getting as many people back online as quickly as possible. That's why huge neighborhoods like Oak Hills, Sherwood Forest, Shenandoah/White Oak and the Kenilworth/Magnolia Woods/Walden areas will get their power back before others.

Because it was a stupid question

Luckily we never lost power but I’m curious regarding Cox.. we lost cable around 2 am after the storm died down, regained cable multiple times until around 9 yesterday morning and it’s been out since.. don’t claim to understand the delivery logistics but it seems odd how it made it through the storm then bounced off and on to finally go out after the storm and weather had passed

DEMCO is going in the wrong direction. About 7am they had 66% of EBR out, now it’s up to 75%

I’m out near the Diversion and have not seen much in the way of power trucks to this point

I’m towards the end of Mag Woods by the pool. Is Entergy working their way down Magnolia woods? My wife and I are driving back from Dallas now and last we heard we were still out
As of now parts of Kimbro, Baird, Menlo and Castle Kirk are on. There is a tree down over a line down towards the pool. Magnolia Wood itself is a mess. About 10% as bad as Gustav, but still a mess.

Driving around Baton Rouge this morning fills me with gratitude because of what we avoided. It’s a pain in the arse, but cleanup is a totally different thing than rebuilding.
